Our Services

Products can be purchased directly from this website or via our various distributors and agents. We will also gladly export anywhere in the world – please contact us for international courier rates.

We will gladly review your requirements and provide expert advice or conduct an onsite audit to identify areas of potential weakness in your program. Such audits will be based on your existing policies, your company’s accepted fatal risk control standards or protocols, as well as using our own SafeTE DeLOTO Compliance Assessment Tool.

We will also review your existing policies and procedures in terms of legislative compliance and more importantly, review the practicality of implementation and use.

Forensic auditing services using subject matter experts and/or professional engineers and/or certified engineers after accidents and incidents is included in our portfolio of offering.

Our experts will also gladly research and design products, training, promotional or any other material and equipment to suit your specific requirements and DeLOTO challenges.

While we endeavour to proactively assist in preventing these accidents and incidents, it is unfortunate that we continue to suffer violations. We will gladly assist in incident and accident investigations as often the failure to DeLOTO can be a complex string of events that ultimately result in an unwanted event. These are generally done as causal tree or bowtie analysis but we are willing to select your companies preferred methodology.

Training of personnel is vitally important to any DeLOTO program. We offer a range of training services to ensure that all management and personnel understand the requirements of your DeLOTO program.

All training material can be adapted to incorporate your company’s procedures, standards and practices, as applicable.

Executives & Management DeLOTO Awareness Training

Managers must know how to recognise a good de-energise and lockout system. This half day course is designed for executive and managers and fundamentally provides management with the ability to guide and lead teams effectively.

Maintenance teams require an understanding of

  • the policies in use, different energies
  • how to recognise energies
  • when to de-energise and lockout/tagout
  • when certain types of live work can be performed

This course also addresses the “myth” surrounding lockout and provides various examples which maintenance teams can relate to, thereby aiding their understanding of the DeLOTO requirements.

Operational teams also need a proper understanding of de-energise and lockout as the routine performance of their tasks often brings them into dangerous proximity of harmful energies during inspection and other operational tasks.

Induction for all persons entering an industrial site is extremely important as all persons must be made aware of your site’s energy control policies and procedures.

Refresher training for all persons needs to be conducted regularly, so that the focus on this subject is never lost but rather maintained. We generally include recent incidents from the client’s site in the training for refresher courses (if available to ensure that the refresher training is relevant and effective.

We have developed standard training programs based on our experience over the years, in order to meet all of these requirements. We will gladly provide such training in most commonly-spoken Southern African languages, to ensure the maximum understanding by the teams.
